Regional Manager - San Francisco Bay Area

Farmigo, a venture-backed startup, provides a platform for consumers to make healthy eating part of their everyday lives by discovering and buying fresh food from local farmers. We are looking for an exceptional manager to help develop the market int the Bay area. This is a full-time position, working closely with a regional and national team, which is located in Brooklyn, New York.

The ideal candidate combines a passion for local food economies with a passion for people, who are the heart of our food communities and central to our mission. This requires exceptional range in relationship building skills, ability to lead local outreach to connect with multiple constituencies, and ability to creatively engage, inspire and drive momentum among local businesses, community organizations, Champions (community leaders) and customers.

Specifically, the Regional Manager will:

  1. Identify new Farmigo Food Community opportunities, including new Champions (individuals who will start their own open communities), workplaces, large residential buildings, community organizations and schools
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive local activation plans to engage and convert these opportunities to Farmigo Food Communities
  3. Build Community productivity; increase membership and adoption of Farmigo at each Community.

The Regional Manager must permanently reside in the Bay Area. An intimate knowledge and connections within one's community is strongly preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  1. BA/BS
  2. A minimum of three years of full time work experience is required to apply.
  3. Passion for local food, local economies and/or sustainable businesses
  4. Strong consumer orientation with experience working in consumer-focused businesses
  5. Proven Track-Record in Sales - in particular closing sales
  6. Entrepreneurial with demonstrated track-record of initiative & follow through

Leadership:

  1. Ability to build excitement, enroll others and create momentum
  2. Comfort and confidence working across all levels of organizations (CEO, Employees, Office Managers).

Creativity & Problem Solving:

  1. Adept at finding fresh ways to bring plans to life
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to represent Farmigo publicly in front of large and small audiences
  3. Strong organizational skills - beginning with self-management; time management/multi-tasking

Test Automation Engineer

Location: Tel Aviv

Farmigo is currently hiring a Test Automation Engineer to join its exclusive development team. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing Farmigo's product testing infrastructure and operation utilities.

The Role

  • Define and develop the test automaton infrastructure based on Java
  • Develop different utilities and tools to improve development processes
  • Own the quality of new features

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience in development (Java - advantage)
  • Experience with test automation (Knowledge in Selenium - advantage)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to learn and rapidly adopt to new technologies
